The Newest Star in the Family Constellation

This baby quilt is titled, The Newest Star in the Family Constellation. Before sending it to the new parents, I inked their names and their new born son’s name and their birthdates on a few of the white stars located in the center of the quilt. There are a lot of blank white stars left, for the parents to add future children and other family members’ names and birthdates: their siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. The back of the quilt is a soft baby flannel panel that says, “I love you to the moon and back.
